Our cottages are a popular new addition to our safe and secure gated community. Built to an incredibly high standard, they are designed with your needs in mind. They feature open plan living, two bedrooms, modern appliances, underfloor heating in the bathroom, and an outdoor living area overlooking a park where you can relax with friends and family – the ultimate in worry-free living as we also take care of home repairs and maintenance. There are communal vegetable gardens with an abundance of seasonal goodness grown by the residents. Cottage 108 is a corner unit, with great proximity to our Village Centre. It features a large primary bedroom, a heat pump, a dishwasher drawer, plus a spacious patio. It has a light, neutral colour palette to suit all tastes.
Our Village Centre offers a range of on-site activities and features. This includes a vibrant café, resident bar, exercise room, library, movie theatre, hair and beauty salon, bar, indoor swimming pool & spa pool, lounge, and barbeque facilities. Our on-site Activities Coordinator organises events, outings, and activities every week.

A Ministry of Health certified care centre, serviced apartments and our award-winning memory care centre. Summerset's continuum of care means that should your needs change in the future, you will be able to access additional levels of care and support in your own home, in your serviced apartment or in our care centre (subject to availability). And, if you ever need ongoing care, as a resident you‘ll receive priority access, right up to hospital level and dementia care. You’ll always have peace of mind of knowing all support needs are taken care of without having to leave the village.
Our Village Centre includes a café, exercise room, library, hair salon, bar, indoor swimming pool, lounge, and barbeque facilities. Our Activities Coordinator organises events, outings, and activities every week.
Summerset Palms is within easy walking distance to the foreshore reserve, boarders a cycle trail and just around the corner from popular Maraenui Golf Course. Everyday life here is a fusion of beautiful coastal scenery, social events in the village, outings to the city and surrounds, and days of relaxation at home.
