Brand-new homes are selling now* at Summerset's newest Hawke's Bay village, Summerset Palms. Located just 4kms from Napier City in the coastal suburb of Te Awa, Summerset Palms is our fourth village in the Hawke's Bay area. Once complete, it will offer 317 homes to choose from, including villas, cottages, serviced apartments and our state-of-the-art memory care apartments. The first new 2 and 3-bedroom villas are now available so be quick to secure your choice and be the first to move into this brand-new community.

Summerset's full continuum of care means that should your needs change in the future, you will be able to access additional levels of care and support in your own home, in your serviced apartment or in our care centre. And, if you ever need ongoing care, as a resident you‘ll receive priority access, right up to hospital level and dementia care. You’ll always have peace of mind of knowing all support needs are taken care of without having to leave the village.

Once the Village Centre is complete, Summerset Palms will be buzzing with a range of on-site activities and features. This includes a café, exercise room, library, hair salon, vegetable garden, bar, indoor swimming pool, lounge, and barbeque facilities. An on-site Activities Coordinator will also be joining the team to organise events, outings, and activities every week.

Summerset Palms is within easy walking distance to the foreshore reserve and just around the corner from popular Maraenui Golf Course. Everyday life here will be a fusion of beautiful coastal scenery, social events in the village, outings to the city and surrounds, and days of relaxation at home.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
