Located just 4kms from Napier City in the coastal suburb of Te Awa, Summerset Palms is our fourth village in the Hawke's Bay area. Summerset Palms offers the full continuum of care.
Live independently in a villa, cottage or serviced apartment. Summerset's continuum of care means that should your needs change in the future, you will be able to access additional levels of care and support in your own home, in your serviced apartment or in our care centre (care is subject to availability, eligibility criteria). And, if you ever need ongoing care, as a resident you‘ll receive priority access, right up to hospital level and dementia care in our our industry-leading memory care centre. You’ll always have peace of mind of knowing all support needs are taken care of without having to leave the village.
Our Village Centre includes a café, exercise room, library, hair salon, bar, indoor swimming pool, lounge, and barbeque facilities. Our Activities Coordinator organises events, outings, and activities every week.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
