Find information about the End of Life legislation?

Assisted dying is when a person is helped to end their own life by taking or being given certain medication. It's different to choosing not to receive treatment as your health condition gets worse (which can be included as part of an advance care plan).

For a person to be eligible for assisted dying, they must meet specific criteria outlined by the The End of Life Choice Act 2019. For more information about the assisted dying process and criteria, click here
