Tenure TermsThe cottages are on a Licence to Occupy basis. They have been built over a period of 25 years and therefore attract different prices. They are sold on current market valuation.

The Cambridge Resthaven Trust Board give priority to Cambridge residents and then to those who have connections to Cambridge. When an apartment becomes available applicants who belong to those categories are contacted first. If there is no interest then those who have applied from outside the district will be contacted.
Surrender DetailsOn vacating the cottage the Depreciation Fee for the cottage is deducted from the selling price at the rate of 5% each year for the first 5 years of occuapation and 2.5% thereafter, to a maximum of 30%, as well as refurbishment and administration costs of the sale.

Cambridge Resthaven's Village Manager is on hand to ensure general well-being and manageability in the home for all our residents. Monday morning tea is hosted weekly in the Village Centre , giving all residents the opportunity to catch up and participate in village life. We regularly
have guest speakers from both outside agencies and organisations covering a broad spectrum of interests and information.

We have a very active Residents' Social Committee who organize outings, evening entertainment, and themed events.

Resident meetings are held every three months in and around the Village Centre, giving an opportunity for general discussion with fellow residents and management.
