We have two serviced apartments available – both are comfortable, safe, and warm one-bedroom homes in a friendly garden setting. The kitchenette flows into an open plan living and dining area. There is a separate bedroom and an ensuite with a level-entry shower and lots of storage. The bathroom is especially equipped with fixtures and fittings designed for comfort, safety, and ease of use. An easy access shower with well-placed grab rails assists residents whose mobility is compromised. There is also a 24/7 emergency call button located in the bathroom.
Staying active and connecting with others is easy from these serviced apartments. Centrally located in the heart of the facility, down the hall from the activities room, these apartments are your gateway to enjoying everything Moana has to offer. If you need a bit of extra support with meals or personal care, we can provide these as one-off services or as a care and support package - regular household cleaning, laundry services, personal and medical care, delicious meals are some of the services on offer.

Interests & Activities
We have a mini bus and car. Residents in the retirement village are encouraged to contact the office during the week if they wish to be taken down town. Dependent on time frames it may be appropriate that a taxi is used for the return home. Church services weekly are held in Moana House. Games afternoon, Housie, cards (five hundred, mah-jong or as residents desire. Bus trips. Age Concern and RSA visits. We have regular pianist, music and visiting entertainers. Daily motivational and exercise programme. Weekly Garden Club activity for enthusiasts. Email service available. There is considerable community support and integration. |
