About Summerset by the Ranges (Levin)
Summerset by the Ranges is a well-established, beautiful village situated to the south east of Levin in the heart of Horowhenua. Framed by the spectacular Tararua Ranges, the village is only a short drive to the Levin town centre.
Even with its central location, the village maintains a semi-rural feel, being situated in quiet, relaxing, park-like grounds. The village provides residents with access to the full continuum of care from independent living to care options in our care centre and industry-leading memory care centre (Care is subject to certification, availability and eligibility criteria).

A courtesy bus goes to town on Tuesday & Thursday, leaving at 9.30 am & returning at 11.30 am. Our Care Centre residents may also go to town with our Diversional Therapist on a Thursday afternoon if they prefer to have some assistance with shopping.

Lots of lovely parks within close proximity. Plenty of lovely open spaces within the grounds including mini putt, a beautifully planted dell, children's playground and a designated dog walk area.

Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
