Framed by the spectacular Tararua Ranges, the village is only a short drive to the Levin town centre. Even with its central location, the village maintains a semi-rural feel, being situated in quiet, relaxing, park-like grounds.
We have more than 200 residents that call Summerset by the Ranges home, in mix of apartments, villas, and memory care suites to support those residents living with dementia*. One of the benefits of living in a Summerset village is knowing that should your needs change, a range of care options are available (care is subject to availability and eligibility criteria). Please note that rest home level care and hospital level care in our care centre is not currently available due to refurbishment. Our Memory Care centre is open.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
