Activities are run by Angela, Deity and supported by Mandy and our Team.
The morning starts with 'Meet & Greet' to see where folk are at, followed by 'brain games' and light exercises to work on strength and balance.
We take a 'let's keep moving approach' to the day's activities.
Morning tea is the welcome interruption at 10am.
After lunch activities begin again and go through till afternoon teatime and sometimes after depending on the activity of the day.
Our monthly activities calendar includes any special events such as celebrations, entertainment, visiting groups, manicures and theme days.
We are visited by podiatrist Lisa or one of her team each 6 weeks as well as hairdresser Mark.
Some of the popular activities include Bingo, carpet bowls, horseshoes, boards games, movies, music, art & craft along with social events.

| Who comes here and Why There are a variety of reasons a person would choose to come to Lara Lodge Care Home and this may be because an illness or disability has bought limitations. Perhaps it is the later years of life that has seen challenges that require a modifying of decisions and actions. Loneliness and social isolation may have precipitated such a move. |
