Having lived in many places with her air force husband, Margi, a retired school teacher chose Rosehill Village because it was near her daughters and grandchildren. “The apartment is lovely and the village is small and cosy so it’s easy to get to know people. My grandkids just love the pool.”

Margi says it’s the community spirit that makes this home for her. “Everyone is very welcoming. The staff are wonderful and the activities are fun. I go to quiz quite religiously, Vonnie runs them really well and we have a lot of laughs.” It’s also very handy to have the library nearby. “The Avondale library is just across the road and they send large print books fortnightly – it’s a great service. We’ve got a library here too with a good selection of books. We’re very well catered for.”
