Last year my dad needed to go into a rest home, we checked all Invercargill rest homes and decided Rose Lodge would be the best one for him. We loved that it only had 30 rooms as it was more like a big family home than a rest home. They have a lovely Conservatory out the front looking onto Tweed Street which catches all the sun plus would give dad the ability to watch the world go by. How right we where, dad struggled with the fact he had to leave his lovely home but the staff and the Manager Fiona where amazing with him. They got him to have his meals in the dining room with the other residents and he really enjoyed the contact with other people. He loved sitting in the conservatory and was able to see when his visitors arrived. He lived there for 10 months and we where able to feel at ease knowing he was never alone. Us 3 girls can never thank the amazing staff at Rose Lodge enough.
Thank you for your positive feedback.

If you thinking of down sizing, consider Rose Lodge and come and join our happy family.
We have been here for 3 and a quarter years and loving it. Our manager is very approachable and has a loving and caring staff. Bill and Rowena. Our villa is convenient to the Rest Home in which we as residents are able to visit and attend any house functions. Staff at Rose Lodge are friendly and very helpful...nothing is a bother. We would recommend the villas at Rose Lodge as a home in later life. Keith. |
