About Rose Lodge
Rose Lodge is a small and welcoming village situated in the heart of Invercargill. Our facility has 10 one and two bedroom independent sunny villas, all with 24-hour medical support for peace of mind. We also have a visiting hearing aid clinic, physiotherapist, a hairdresser and podiatrist. We are very family friendly, we have open-ended visiting hours and a hands-on management team who are available to help both residents and their families.
We run an integrated activities programme across the facility, including our on-site rest home, this also includes van outings.
At some stage in our lives we may require more assistance in our day to day living. Our wealth of experience in other stages of care means our team can advise you on your options and how it all works. We are here to help and assure you through the stages.

Mythbusting - Retirement Villages are a rip-off
Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
