“Mum loves the friendly, caring and generous staff, nothing is too much trouble for them.” Resident’s daughter

“My greatest relief and certainty surrounding my mother and her long-term stay at Lyndale Villa is the reliable care and professional concern of staff, and the natural friendships woven among the other residents. Throughout the day, they sustain and uplift Mum, in the place she calls home

What's New
What's New
New Manager Mary Leighton. Comes to the role with many years experience in the Age Care Sector. Mary is Wairarapa born and bred and has owned and operated facilities previously in the Masterton Region. Mary has been at Lyndale for eight months.
over the past eight months there has been significant changes at Lyndale.
  • The interior of the facility has had a total refurbishment.
  • The gardens have been revamped and the section tidied.
  • Lyndale has had rebranding with a new logo and supporting marketing documentation
  • A new website has been set up
  • All Staff have received updated education
  • We now have a experienced diversional therapist and two apprenticeship diversional therapists.
  • Quality has become a focus. Quality improvements have included: Our Falling Star Programme which is a project focussing on a reduction of falls. Lyndale have engaged a physiotherapist and have recruited a mobility assistant. Both work with high risk residents to improve mobility. Positive results are evident with a significant reduction of falls.
  • Food as a Point of Difference is another project underway. Lyndale have commenced cooked buffet breakfasts monthly with the view to increasing these weekly. Other initiatives are in the pipeline.
  • A quality initiative  this year is to connect with our local community. We have set up a food pantry at our front gate in partnership with the Masterton Food Bank. Lyndale Residents have their own vegetable garden and grow produce for the pantry.

A recent surveillance audit identified all our efforts with no findings.

You very welcome to call and inspect our very warm and welcoming home.
