Interests & Activities
Interests & Activities
At Duart we have an extensive activity programme run by two diversional therapists which includes activities such as keep fit classes, quizzes, baking, reading, topical projects, visiting entertainers and sing-alongs. We like to have outings twice a week to varied local places. We also know how important staying in touch with our residents is through regular one on one time.

Our team have created a ‘Man Cave’ and ‘Ladies Nook’ – both of which are full of memorabilia from days gone by. For the blokes it’s a great place to have fish and chips, whilst the ladies enjoy regular pamper times.

A mobile library service visits residents once a week and we have a selection of big print books available too.

We can assist or provide contact with services such as Age Concern, Alzheimer's Society, Arthritis society, Blind Foundation, Parkinson's Society, and the RSA.
