WAIRARAPA VILLAGE care facility can provide high level of rest home and hospital level care. You will have access to 24-hour care in a safe and comfortable environment with a Nurse Manager and team of registered Nurses and trained Caregivers dedicated to your wellbeing. With a choice of living options, you can stay close to your spouse or partner if your care needs are different. You will be able to enjoy great companionship, keep busy with a variety of village activities and share quality time with your family and friends.

Registered Nurse 224 Yes We have a team of higly skilled and caring Registered Nurses. They are supported by a Senior Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager.
Nurse Practitioner Yes We have access to a Nurse Practition from the Community.
Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes We have a team of genuine, dedicated Caregivers. We encourage our Caregivers to complete the ACE training and also provide a variety of Training options for them.
Physiotherapist Yes We have a Physiotherapist who visits weekly, provides assessment and plans for our Residents. Working alongside them to maintain and improve their situation.The Physiotherapist provides training to staff on safe handling of our Residents.
Occupational Therapist Negotiable Occupational Therapist can be sourced from the DHB - referral process.
Social Worker (on site) Negotiable A social worker from the DHB can be provided if required.
Diversional Therapist 29 Yes Offers in-door and out-door activities five days per week. Works one to one with our most frail of Resident.

We offer card games, puzzles, Mahjong, crosswords, daily Newspaper gossip corner.
Daily exercises, creative workshops, outside visitors for music and exhibitions.
Regular Church services, daily "happy hour".
We offer a full range of books, games and jigsaw puzzles
Activities are extensive, and Residents are able to either choose or come to them all!!!
We have a 50inch Television and have a monthly "Cinema afternoon" with movie favourites chosen by Residents with ice cream or popcorn!
Bowls, mini golf and small ball games are offered in the main lounge weekly.
3 van trips per week - weather permitting
We encourage family participation by having various functions, but our famous family party is held in December, for a BBQ and a glass of wine with fun and games with our Staff team.

Details about meals We offer a full and extensive menu, with alternatives. Food is available on trays and in Residents room, but we do encourage our Residents to eat and socialise together in our large dining room.

Shops 0.50 Km 2 minute walk to the nearest shops. 5 minute walk to Masterton Town Centre.
Parks 1.50 Km Masterton has a beautiful Queen Elizebeth Park with a stream, crazy golf, cricket, and wild bird sanctuary. Henley Lake - 5 minute drive is situated the other end of Masterteron, offering walks, various wildlife and seating.
