Please note that rest home level care and hospital level care in our care centre is not currently available due to refurbishment. Our Memory Care centre is open.

Our modern, purpose-built Care Centre at Summerset by the Ranges offers a range of care services designed to meet the level of care you need (subject to availability). Our friendly and professionally trained Care Centre staff are supervised by registered nurses, available on-site 24 hours a day.

Our rest home level care provides the very best clinical care, in a warm, welcoming community. Residents have private, modern rooms – some with ensuite facilities where they can surround themselves with their own things.

Summerset by the Ranges is also proud to offer rest home-level dementia care in a purpose-built, safe and homely environment at Summerset by the Ranges. Please see our dementia-specific listing for more information.

Our care centre have received 4 year certification from the Ministry of Health to provide rest home and hospital level care.

Family Committee Yes We have regular family and friends meetings where residents' families are invited to attend. When a resident moves into Care, we send out a Move In Survey to their family to check everything went well & they got the info they needed. We send satisfaction surveys to resident's families as well for their views.

Shops A courtesy bus goes to town on Tuesday & Thursday, leaving at 9.30am, returning at 11.30 am. Our Care Centre residents may also go to town with our Diversional Therapist on a Thursday afternoon if they prefer to have some assistance with shopping.
Mall A 5 minute drive.
Parks Lots of lovely parks within close proximity. Plenty of lovely open spaces within the grounds, including mini putt, a beautifully planted dell, cherry trees and roses, children's playground and a designated dog walk area.
Library We have our own Library and also have access to the Village Leisure Centre Library, with new books being added regularly.
