Testimonials
Testimonials
"It is always great to get up in the morning and admire the beautiful gardens from my own personal deck. This is such a warm, friendly environment and I cannot fault the Management and staff for all the aspects of our care." Patricia Reid

"I love being at Crossley Court. It has a pleasant environment and I have great company too. The Management and Staff are always willing to help and support me at all times. The gardens are well maintained and what I love most is my deck where I keep and water my own plants." Grace Watkins

"Early in May of this year, my Mum went to live at Crossley Court. At 91, it was a big adjustment for her as she was very independent and loved living alone in her own home. For health reasons, it was no longer safe for her to live alone. Elaine and her wonderful staff made Mum feel very welcome and I am grateful for the loving care they give her. She settled in well and does enjoy the outings with Wendy. I sleep better knowing that she isn't alone and that if she falls again, she won't spend hours on the floor hurt as she has in the past.(Even with a home alarm.)" Shelley Good

"It is a great place if you are mentally prepared to settle in. I have a lovely room. I think of this as my own home now and I am not going anywhere else. It is close to township and just across the sea. It has got a lot going!"
Rosaleen Carryer

"I am so glad I chose Crossley Court Rest Home as my retirement home. Here I feel safe, comfortable and happy. Three meals per day plus cuppas in between times are provided. Staff give all the assistance required and treat us patiently and with good humour. A number of residents and Staff members have become good friends to me and I now think of them as my second family" Phyliss Ferguson

"When we found that Crossley Court in Orewa could take Dad in April 2016 he was in very poor health and was losing weight at an alarming rate. The Manager was fantastic and she had instant regular tests, good nutrition and he was placed in a room that suited his personality. Our family doubted we would see Dad this Christmas. Instead we have a much happier and healthier Dad who has gained weight and can enjoy life again. Crossley Court has lovely caring nurses and Staff and have a very professional approach to all Dads health needs. The proximity of the home to Orewa town means Dad can walk with us to the beach or cafe which is great too." Robyn Bolton December 2016

Mum absolutely loves all the Staff. She feels like they treat her as a friend. They like and spoil her and can't do enough. She loves the way they interact with her family and make them feel welcome. Everything is of very high standard, very clean and also lovely food. She really enjoys the daily exercises as well as day trips she goes on. Most importantly, she feels safe. (Compliments from Ngaire and daughter, Kaye Wilson on 13th of August 2025)
