Details about meals

Home cooked, caters to specific dietary needs of residents. Also has themed months for special meals to look forward to. Menu is resident- driven. 4 x cooks share their expertise and cooking styles.

Special features

We have recently upgraded the outdoor area.The residents have thoroughly enjoyed the Colourful flowers around the Rest Home.The Rest Home has a Physiotherapist on site every Thursday afternoons and this has certainly improved the residents mobility and alertness.Our new Physiotherapy room
has been operational since March 2012.

Most part of the gardens have been updated by Landscape designer and our new Gardener.
We have always maintained our homely atmosphere.

Colourful pot plants are great features on residents' decks.

New Canopy on Entrance area. Pretty bright red and welcoming and can't be missed

We are directly across the road from Orewa Beach. It is a short walk through the memorial park to the beach. This is a real family beach that everyone can enjoy. In summer, families often go for a swim before or after a visit as beach is just so handy.

The public library can be can be accessed easily. We also have an in-house library. Public library Staff visits once a month as well to provide books of preference for specific residents.
