We have a lovely, family friendly environment where visitors are always welcome. We encourage independence but also provide support and assistance as and when required by caring staff. Our House GP and Physio are always included as part of our team approach.

There is everything I need right here and the café makes it a little extra special for grandchildren to visit.

When Uncle was moving to Peacehaven from another facility I took my sister in law around the Home and looked at the cafe - the bowling table and all around the wide corridors and lounge areas. She was so amazed about the environment - the space and how nice it is right through. She didn't think it could be like this - it is so nice we have chosen our rooms! Maryann.

Nurse Practitioner Yes We are very fortunate to have Margaret O'Connor, Nurse Practitioner available as part of the Enliven Team.
Registered Nurse Yes Always at least two Registered Nurses on site at all times, most days will have more than this in conjunction with Enrolled Nurses.
Enrolled Nurse Yes We are fortunate to have a number of Enrolled Nurses working with Residents.
Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes We have a dedicated well trained team of caregivers who work tirelessly to provide the very best care to our residents. We are very fortunate to have a number of these with advanced training as well as Level 4 NZ Certificate.
Physiotherapist Yes Lee works at Peacehaven everyday along side our Therapy aide position of 20 hours per week.
Occupational Therapist Yes Shannon has just started with us working with the diversional therapists and activities co-ordinators.
Diversional Therapist Yes We have 4 Diversion Therapists working across Peacehaven planning and developing our busy activity programme.
Activities Co-ordinator Yes Our programmes runs across the seven days. The programme is varied and includes visits by local entertainers as well as spending time bowling, in our Shed just spending time. The Diversional Therapist hours are not noted in this total.
Hairdresser Yes Service is available Tuesday to Friday in purpose built salon.
Podiatrist Yes Monthly visits, but more often if it is required. This may be at your expense if your are not a diabetic. We also have our own nail technician who visits all residents.
Dietitian Yes Our menu has just been revised and we provide meals to a high standard. Individual diet requirements are provided for. Dietitian involvement is available for those with specialised diets.
Accredited Visitors Yes Canine Friends, volunteers and entertainment groups visit.
Kaumatua Yes Presbyterian Support Southland has a Cultural Advisor who can assist in making the appropriate contacts for Residents. As well as this we have links with local Marae and Kaumatua.
Chaplain/Spiritual Advisor Yes We are fortunate to have a Pastoral Visitor. However, we encourage and support other denominations who visit regularly.
Other Personnel Yes We have regular visits to the sites from SDHB specialist services such as Megan Pagan - wound specialist. Raewyn Healey visits as our Quality Manager to assist with ensuring we meet certification requirements and standards.

Associated Complexes We have on our site a 40 bed Dementia Facility, 20 Residential level and 20 Hospital level. 48 Cottages, (rented) and 26 Townhouses, (buy the right to occupy) A Hall, Cafe complex which has a meeting room, with video and DVD playing equipment, raised bowls table, library, outdoors areas. Lawns and gardens. Chapel.
