It boasts a safe and supportive environment, with a range of services to ensure residents continue getting the most out of life. There is a communal area Andersons Hall for gatherings and there are many activities on offer in Elms Complex. It features a raised bowls table, fitness equipment, library and a café that is perfect for visiting friends and family. Within the village there is also The Shed, for crafty types and Iona chapel with a dedicated Pastoral Visitor. Services are offered regardless of race, belief or background.
Peacehaven Village encourages residents to enjoy the level of independence they are used too, yet take full advantage of the many social activities on offer. Mythbusting - Retirement Villages are a rip-off
Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
