At Alden, we believe that all our elders deserve compassionate, trusted and respectful care, no matter their means or background. Rosedale residential care home offers hospital level care in our 34-bed private hospital wing.

Our staff are committed to providing the best possible healthcare services combined with the highest standards of nursing care. Most rooms have a view of gardens, and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with pictures, photographs and any keepsakes they treasure.

For those that wish to join in, we have a daily activities programme, which offers a variety of activities from arts and crafts to dancing and exercise, games and pet therapy.

The Ministry of Health conducts regular audits of Residential Care Facilities. They can be found HERE.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
