About Arvida Waikanae Lodge
Waikanae Lodge is set in the heart of the Garden Area and is bordered by established homes, beautiful gardens and the picturesque Waikanae River. It’s a place where residents can remain close to family, friends and community groups, while enjoying all the care, comfort and support that our community life offers.
The village was architecturally designed in 1991 to suit the needs of older people, and is a licensed Rest Home and Private Hospital. As well as a full Care Facility, you’ll find tastefully designed Villas and Serviced Apartments, with a choice of one, two or three bedrooms.
By providing a range of accommodation options, we can cater for your current requirements and adapt to any change in your health or personal circumstances, giving you the comfort of knowing you’ll have the support and care you need.
As an Arvida village, we take care to listen and help residents to continue to enjoy the things they love to do. We also offer a one-on-one personal coaching programme offered by the Diversional Therapist that actively empowers residents to take charge of their own health and wellbeing
The Right To Wind In Your Hair. Arvida is dedicated to redefining the ageing experience. Putting those words into action Cycling Without Age is pleased to be launching our life enriching initiative New Zealand in close collaboration with Arvida. Together we place a strong focus on health, wellbeing and lifestyle, and Cycling Without Age is a great way to connect aged residents with members of the community for an experience that’s enriching and contributes to good social and mental health.
