About Voguehaven Rest Home

We are a dedicated family that have decided that caring for elders is our mission. Post redundancy due to COVID, and looking for a change in a much quieter town we stumbled upon the opportunity of buying Waverley house rest home in Greenmeadows in 2021. Now we are looking forward to extending our experience and love for the elders in Hawkes Bay with Voguehaven Rest home. We put our energy, commitment and care into our adventure and hope to make a difference in the elders life

Details about meals

Voguehaven is proud to offer all home cooked meals, we work with a seasonal rotating menu, catering for individual likes and dislikes. Our menu is also a reflection of input from our Residents. Our morning and afternoon teas are good, old-fashioned, home baking.

Special features

Voguehaven is proud to offer a warm, family home with care provided by a wonderful team of very positive caregivers led by Esther. We encourage a fun, happy environment that feels like a normal family home
If any resident would like a patch of garden or simple chores, to help them feel useful, like they were in their own homes, we are happy to accommodate.
We make a point to celebrate all holidays big and small and have a cake for every resident's birthday. We pride ourselves on our Long Lunch for Art Deco Weekend. Our Mid Winter Christmas brightens up the dullest part of the year.
