What's included in your fees and what's not?

The fees per week for rest home care - $1120.49
For a rest home suite, there is an extra charge of $30 per day.

Details about meals

Home cooked meals, fresh baking daily, varied menu (five-week cycle with summer and winter menus).
Facility Manager and Dietitian review menus regularly as part of quality management.

Special features

Torbay Rest Home has an extensive activities programme including exercise groups, games, trivial pursuit, visiting pets, 'happy hour', singing and entertainment, gardening group, mini bus trips.
Residents choose activities they wish to participate in and our activities co-ordinator directs the daily programme.
Some of our residents continue to attend regular community groups ie Stroke Club, RSA and Church groups.
The residents enjoy companionship from other residents and the dedicated, caring staff.

Torbay Rest Home is certified to the NZ Health and Disability Standards. Reqular internal audits assist in the quality improvement programme. International Certifications are the auditing agency used by the facility.
Torbay Rest Home has gained tertiary level for workplace safety with ACC.
