"Dishonour not the Aged as we shall all be numbered among them"

Te Ata offers Advanced Personal Care Services for clients living in their own homes who require more than standard personal care and home help services. This service is designed for clients who may otherwise be approved for rest home level care, enabling them to continue living safely in their own home.

Our key point of difference is the frequency of daily servicing, together with daily oversight, clinical input, and access to a Registered Nurse 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We visit our clients daily from dawn to dusk, with up to five visits per day, ensuring individual needs are met and safety is maintained at all times.

Each client receives an individualised service plan, allowing them to remain in their own home for as long as possible, safely and with dignity.

From the family of a Client
"Just a little something to say a BIG thank you for spending time with us last week. Your listening ear, sound advice and caring heart meant so much to us all! Thank you for your continued care and love of our darling Dad - we know he is in very good hands"

Service Description
Service Description
Te Ata offers more than standard personal care and home help services. We provide Advanced Care Services for clients living in their own homes who have higher and more complex personal, medical, and safety needs.

Our service is designed to support individuals who require a greater level of assistance to remain safe, well, and independent in their own home environment.

In addition to advanced personal care and household management, Te Ata takes responsibility for medication oversight and implementation, ensuring medications are administered safely and correctly. We also support social and community connections, assist with access to appropriate services, and help facilitate rehabilitation options where required.

Client safety is our highest priority. We visit clients as many times per day as needed, providing support from early morning through to evening. This includes administering medications first thing in the morning, monitoring wellbeing throughout the day, and assisting with evening routines, including securing homes and helping clients settle safely for the night.

This comprehensive, individualised approach allows our clients to remain in their own homes for as long as possible, with confidence, dignity, and peace of mind for both clients and their families.
