About Sylvia Park Hospital
We specialise in Rest Home & Hospital Level of care for the Chinese and Asian communities.
We first started in 1996 as the first Chinese Rest Home in NZ. Then we followed in 2009 as the first Chinese Hospital level of care in Auckland.

We offer delicious Chinese food every meal time, which is all prepared in our own kitchen.

Our facility is very new. Our residents' rooms are light and bright.
Larger ensuite with own shower and toilet.
Interests & activities
We offer Satellite TV which gives you 25 channels from China. We also have WTV through NZ Sky TV offering Japanese, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korean and Mainland China channels.
We have a van available for outings.
Our residents enjoy celebrating the various festivals such as Chinese New Year, Moon Festival and other ones, which they are familiar with.
Mahjong is popular.
The local paper, Herald and Chinese papers are delivered.
