About Summerset on the Coast (Paraparaumu)
Summerset villages are designed so that as your needs change you can generally access different levels of support to help you. We call this our continuum of care.
Serviced apartments are ideal if you want to retain your independence but need a little support, which we can provide with one of our service packages.
Our modern and spacious care centre is ideal if getting around has become more difficult or if higher levels of care are required, including rest home or hospital-level care. Staff in our onsite care centre are trained professionals and available 24/7.
We know that moving into care can be a challenging time and we understand that everyone’s situation is different. Contact our Sales Manager to help you decide what is best for you and your family. You can also request our free information pack by clicking on the button at the top of the screen.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
