About Sandringham House Rest Home
Sandringham House Rest Home provides a home away from home, rest home care for up to 21 residents.
The manager is a registered nurse, and is supported by an amazing team of qualified Healthcare Assistants.
At Sandringham House, we respect residents' individual beliefs and values. Confidentiality is important. We provide a high standard of care in a safe friendly non-judgmental family environment. This is reflected in obtaining a 3 year certification from the Ministry of Health.
We welcome, care for and support our residents to take part in a full and active daily program, while supporting residents to maintain their level of individual independence.
At Sandringham all our meals are dietician approved with a different seasonal menus.

Our meals are catered by CIBUS Catering. They are experienced professionals providing quality catering and innovative food service solutions, aligned to the Dieticians NZ guidelines.
CIBUS Catering has a focus on fresh, quality ingredients and classic yet contemporary dishes that people simply love to eat. We can cater to special diets including vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and FODMAP dietary requirements. Along with textured modifications for the aged care industry.

We are small family owned and orientated rest home facility, offering personalised care for each individual person, in a relaxed family setting.
Interests & activities
Our Activity Coordinator sets out a variety of fun and engaging activities for our residents. We encourage and value our residents' feedback and inputs. They take part in deciding more fun activities all the time.
Our local Library delivers a variety of audio books, books, board games and puzzles on a monthly basis.
Our residents mostly enjoy their van rides and trips twice in a week. We also liaise with other rest homes for joint activities.
