Life at Roseanne Retirement Home
Roseanne is a small, home‑style residence in Napier where care is personal, relationships are genuine, and everyone belongs. We support residents with warmth and respect, creating a true sense of family that includes those who live here, their loved ones, and our dedicated team.

Whether you’re with us for a short day stay or a long‑term home, you’ll be known, valued, and welcomed into the daily rhythm of life at Roseanne.

What Makes Roseanne Special
Truly Individualised Care
Our Clinical/Facility Manager, Rhonda, warmly welcomes anyone exploring Rest Home, Respite, or Day Care options.
We take time to understand each person — their routines, preferences, and what helps them feel at ease. Care is always tailored, never one‑size‑fits‑all.

A Home Full of Heart
Visitors are welcome anytime. Families are encouraged to join meals, activities, and outings whenever they wish — because connection matters.

Our Team is Family Too
Our staff bring warmth, skill, compassion, and plenty of laughter. They are the heart and soul of Roseanne.

Respectful, Professional Support
We provide thoughtful, high‑quality care with deep respect for each Resident’s cultural background, spiritual beliefs, and personal dignity.

Meals That Feel Like Home
All meals are freshly prepared on‑site using quality ingredients, by a qualified Chef
Menus are flexible and cater to personal tastes, dietary needs, and nutritional requirements.
Mealtimes are relaxed, social, and homely.

Comfortable, Personal Spaces
We offer 16 welcoming bedrooms, including 11 with ensuite toilet and hand basin.
Two shared shower areas are designed for comfort and ease of use.
Each room can be personalised to make it your own.

Daily Life & Meaningful Activities
We believe in living well at every age.
Our qualified Diversional Therapist Margaret leads a varied programme including outings, music, movement, games, creative sessions, and themed events. Participation is always optional and flexible, with Day guests and Respite Care Residents are fully included in activities during their stay.

Day Care Availability
We offer day care Monday to Friday with our DT, Margaret, providing a warm, social, and supportive environment.

If you’re considering care now or planning ahead, we’d love to talk. Vacancies come up regularly, and we’re happy to discuss options and timeframes with honesty and no pressure.
Putting your name down early is always a good idea — we’re here to help you navigate the journey with confidence and care.
