Remuera Rise has overhead hoists in all rooms.
Televisions in all rooms with Freeview channels. Sky TV can be arranged. Sky TV available in main lounge.
Recliner chairs provided in each room
Electronic beds in all rooms (these can be lowered to the floor to prevent falls). Beds have pressure relieving matresses.
Our spacious rooms are between 17.8m2 and 25m2
Interests & activities
At Remuera Rise we know how to have fun! As we are a smaller facility the preferences of each resident can be catered for. If there is something that you would like to do, please let us know. We provide an evidence based exercise programme and all residents, staff and visitors are invited to participate. There is always plenty of laughter at this session!
Some other activities include: BBQ, big print books, board games, bowls, Bingo, pet therapy, entertainers, evidence based exercise programme, cooking, happy hour, special events, van outings, art and craft, movies and icecream.
Activities programmes can be tailored to meet the needs of each resident.
