Residents Say It Best
”My Dad was a resident at Radius Kensington for just over three years. During this time, he was well cared for with staff and carers being so kind and supportive.
By the end of Dad's journey, we truly felt like one big family. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Manager, Nelson, for his support and willingness to listen and to have Dad's best interests at hand. Thank you, Radius Kensington ❤️”
Vicki Clarke
”The staff were amazing looking after my dad in the 2 months he was in their care. They made his end of life comfortable and supported both my dad and me and mum while we stayed at dad's side. We are greatful for everything that they did for us.”
Natalie Hewitt
”My mum was a resident at Radius Kensington. Staff treated her with care, kindness and compassion. Family wishes were listened to and actioned. I would like to thank Nelson and his team for supporting our Mum so well during the last chapter of her life.”
Anke Nieschmidt
”My husband Sonny was so well looked after by the team at Radius Kensington, and I truly mean every member. The care and kindness he received was second to none, as was mine when I visited. They made the hard days a lot easier. I highly recommend Kensington to anyone who is looking for care for a loved one.”
Di Te Tamaki
”The staff took great care of my husband in spite of the fact that he could be very difficult. They certainly did what I struggled to do, and I am very grateful. He came to regard the place as his real home, and I believe he felt really safe and cared for there. Thank you to Nelson and the team.”
Rosemary Phillips
”I have been at this facility for over 12 months due to end-of-life medical problems. The staff here are amazing and so helpful and honest, it's kind of like having heaps of my grandchildren caring for me. I spent a short time at another facility, and the improvement in care and work attitude is at a much higher level for sure. I recommend this facility to whoever has a need of these services.”
Crystalle Burton
”My father was recently living at Radius Kensington in Hamilton, He enjoyed his time there and was very well looked after by the staff, there care was outstanding and they always made him feel included and cared for, he was struggling toward the end but the staff were all ways very patent and kind, they spoilt him when he first moved in and continued to do so his entire time he was there, it made it a lot easier for the family knowing dad was safe and cared for, the family would like to extend a huge thank you to Radius for all their help with dad.”
Vic Hopkirk.
”I have an elderly family member who has mental and physical disabilities, to which she has been cared for professionally and medically by the Kensington care home and also the medical staff for over two years. I have worked within the Waikato Hospital medical fraternity and saw no difference between the organisations. Keep it up, Kensington, for this patient has so much confidence in your ability to make her feel safe and secure.”
Reginald Rogers
”My mother-in-law has decided to become a permanent resident after earlier spending 5 weeks in respite care after a significant fall. The staff are friendly and professional, and we are very happy with the care she is receiving.”
Deb Newton
”I would like to thank you and your team for such an enjoyable Xmas event yesterday. You all went above and beyond, and it was obvious how much the residents and whanau enjoyed themselves.
The Radius team is a credit to the aged care industry, and I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their mahi and their care and effort towards our elderly. Wishing everyone a very happy and safe Christmas.”
