Our rooms are very large, many with their own individual ensuite. The bedroom wings lead to a spacious modern living space. There are several doors leading outside to beautifully tended gardens and restful social spaces. As this is a secure living area, the grounds have secure fencing with residents having access to the outdoors 24hrs a day as they wish, in the knowledge they are in a safe environment. Visitors have access to the unit anytime and our friendly staff will let you out again in order to uphold the secure environment requirement

Our specialised hospital area is fully secure with walkways and access outdoors 24hrs a day for residents wishing to spend time there. The rooms are large with many having their own individual ensuite. The public spaces are sunny and warm. Visitors have access at any time however with the nature of the care requirements at this level, our friendly staff will escort you out again to ensure we uphold the secure environment requirement.

What's included in your fees and what's not?
Your loved one may qualify for a subsidy and we recommend you discuss this with Support Net or your Social Worker.
Our room rate includes any extra tariff assigned to your selected room that may cover courtyard access, external door, ensuite etc.
Hair cuts, personal items like clothing, toiletries and treats are not covered by your care fees. Other services such as hydrotherapy, massage and podiatry are provided onsite on request.
Details about meals
The main meal is served at midday. Meal times are 8 am, 12noon and 5 pm. Residents have access to a weekly menu and their dietary preferences are respected and accommodated.
Special features
Radius Althorp is in the heart of the lovely Pyes Pa area verging on a semi rural setting. With spacious grounds, there is always an area available for a social get together.
Our staff genuinely care - this is evidenced through the ongoing regular compliments tendered. We like a sense of fun and often plan big events - this year saw the Mid Winter Ball that was a roaring success and well publicised!
