Special features

Alden Karadean is a Care Facility that offers Rest Home, Day Programme, Hospital, Palliative and Respite levels of care. We offer a comfortable home-like environment where residents and staff create a warm, inclusive, friendly community. Thanks to Karadean being part of this rural town, locals are very involved with our outings, and we often enjoy the hospitality of nearby farmers to experience their gardens and properties. We maintain a very person-centered approach for all our residents. In addition to enjoying a close local bond, we keep connected with families and the broader community by operating a transport service for residents to visit Christchurch.

Interests & activities

Our Activities Coordinator delivers a varied programme to our residents 5 days per week. Our activities programme is regularly updated and promises to cater to a variety of interests and needs. Our programme incorporates day trips, one-to-one sessions and group sessions. Enquiries are most welcome to view our programme.
