About Greenvalley Lodge
Located on a quiet, leafy street in Glenfield, Greenvalley is a small, boutique Care Centre with a big heart, offering a choice of standard and premium care rooms.
Greenvalley is ideally located around the corner from Archers Road, making it easy for friends and family to pop by or take you out and about in Auckland. We’re close to a number of parks and reserves for walks, and the Glenfield Mall is just a short drive away should you need to pick up the essentials.
Visitors and family members frequently tell us that Greenvalley has one of the friendliest atmospheres of all the Care Centres they have visited. Having recently been refurbished, the rooms and living spaces have clean, modern features, whilst still retaining a comfortable, homely feel.
Your room is your own private space, so you can decorate it with your favourite pictures and ornaments. Standard rooms are large enough for a single bed, a chair and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by the DHB. Premium rooms have additional features such as more space, an ensuite bathroom or outdoor access, but you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features.
Hop in our van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. A scenic drive through the countryside, shopping trips or picnics in the park, there’s an exciting new destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re into, enjoy some me-time listening to your own personalised playlist with our award-winning I Love Music programme.
Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings…there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to want second helpings!
When it comes to your care, you know what you do and don’t like – and we want to know your preferences too. Because everyone is different, all of our residents get a personalised care plan, so from meals to medications; everything that’s important to you is covered.
