About Golden View Lifestyle Village
At Golden View Village, we care with heart, providing a safe, nurturing environment where residents live active and fulfilling lives. Golden View Village provides 102 modern and attractive independent living villas completed in 2021, with one-, two-or three-bedroom options available. Villas are surrounded by panoramic mountain views and extensive garden areas – providing a serene setting for you to sit and reflect, or to chat with friends and loved ones.
We are located in Cromwell, Central Otago, within a short walk to the Cromwell township and in easily accessible distance to key locations such as Queenstown, Wanaka, Clyde and Arrowtown.
Additionally, we are unique to Central Otago in that a variety of living options exist onsite, giving you the option to increase your care level at the right time, whilst remaining in your home environment. We also offer:
• Serviced apartments, with support delivered up to rest home level.
• Care bedrooms, with support delivered up to hospital/dementia level.

We offer a full calendar of engaging in-house activities and events, as well as regular outings to local places of interest. We also offer residents the opportunity to participate in Ran-fit, our own ACC approved and accredited strength and balance class. While companionship is never far away should you wish it, you have full freedom to come and go as you please.

Mythbusting - Retirement Villages are a rip-off
Why it’s considered a worthwhile investment.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
