Special features
Care Suites
Glenwood also offers the opportunity to purchase one of our 6 suites which have been purpose built to enhance the lifestyle and independence of the elderly. These suites accommodate two people and may be suitable when one or both parties may need care. This will enable the resident to enjoy an independent lifestyle while still receiving the same care as if they were residing in one of the hospital rooms
Each suite is beautifully decorated and fitted with a personal en-suite, kitchenette, flat screen TV, armchairs, radiator heating, yet large enough to enable the resident to add their own touches with their own personal items.
An outside door leads out on to a private courtyard, overlooking the gardens and views of the Tararua’s

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
