Driving Miss Daisy Kerikeri / Northland
Driving Miss Daisy Kerikeri / Northland provides safe, reliable and friendly transport and assistance for older people, people with mobility needs and anyone who needs a little extra help getting out and about.
As the new local owners, we have a fleet of 8 vehicles, including 3 wheelchair mobility vehicles, providing transport throughout the Far North and Northland.
We provide Total Mobility, ACC and private transport, including hospital and medical transfers, specialist appointments, shopping, social outings, airport transfers and group transport. We are proud to be the only Total Mobility transport provider north of Whangārei.
Safety, care and peace of mind are at the heart of what we do. Our drivers are police checked and receive appropriate training, and our service is about much more than simply getting from A to B. We take the time to provide friendly, respectful and personalised assistance, helping our passengers travel safely and maintain their independence.
If you need transport following an accident or injury, ask your ACC case manager or healthcare provider about using Driving Miss Daisy.
Pre-booking is preferred.

Service Description
| Driving Miss Daisy is more than just transport — we provide safe, reliable transport and personal assistance to help people get out and about with confidence. Our drivers arrive on time, can assist passengers from their home to the vehicle and escort them safely to their destination. Where needed, we can stay with clients during appointments, wait for them and bring them home, rather than simply dropping them at the door. We can help with hospital and medical appointments, shopping, banking, hair appointments, social visits, airport transfers, community activities and outings. We can also transport wheelchairs, walking aids, shopping and personal belongings, and even your much-loved pet when appropriate. We understand that everyone's needs are different, so our drivers take the time to provide the level of assistance required — whether that's a helping hand getting in and out of the house, accompanying someone into an appointment or simply being there to make the journey easier. ACC and Total Mobility transport is available — ask for Driving Miss Daisy when arranging your transport. |
