Service Description
| We batch cook home-style meals in our own kitchen in Whangarei, snap-freeze them, and ship them straight to your door anywhere in New Zealand. It's real food, cooked the way you'd cook it at home. We braise, slow-cook and bake in small batches, then snap-freeze every tray to hold the flavour in. Each tray is a complete meal, with meat, vegetables, sauce and a base like creamy mash, rice or pasta. There's nothing to add and nothing to assemble. Open the freezer, pick what you feel like, and dinner takes care of itself. Our meals come in three sizes. Single serves one. Duo is two serves. Dinner for two, or dinner two nights running. Family serves four. Ideal when you've got extra guests or visitors. Mix and match sizes freely in the same order. Food that suits you. Filter our menu by gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, low sodium, low fat, sugar free, high protein or high fibre, and you'll only see the meals that fit. Our gluten free meals are made with ingredients that do not contain gluten. However we do handle gluten in our kitchen, and while we take strict measures to avoid cross contamination, our meals are not suitable for coeliacs. We don't currently make texture-modified or pureed meals. Heating is easy. Oven, microwave or air fryer, straight from the freezer. In the oven at 180C a Duo takes 20 to 25 minutes and a Family 25 to 30. In the microwave it's 2 to 5 minutes for a Duo and 7 to 10 for a Family. In an air fryer at 170C, 15 to 20 minutes for a Duo and 20 to 25 for a Family. Instructions are printed on every sleeve, and meals keep for six months in the freezer. Ordering is up to you. There's no minimum order and no lock-in contract, so you can try one meal or fill the freezer. If you'd like meals to simply turn up, a weekly, fortnightly or monthly subscription saves 5%, and you can pause or cancel any time. You can also order on behalf of someone else. Just put their address in as the delivery address and add a note with the order. We deliver everywhere. Overnight to most of New Zealand, including Rural Delivery addresses, with up to two days for RD and the South Island. Orders placed Friday to Sunday ship on Monday. You're welcome to pick up free from our kitchen at 50 Kioreroa Road, Whangarei. Simply heat, eat & enjoy! |

Family size makes visitors easy. When children or grandchildren come to stay, a Family tray feeds four without anyone spending the afternoon in the kitchen. No cooking, no prep, no washing up. Every meal is already cooked. No chopping, no standing at the stove, no pile of pots afterwards. Heat it in whatever you have and trust. Oven, microwave or air fryer, straight from frozen. Instructions are printed on every sleeve. Nothing needs transferring into another dish, because the foil tray goes from freezer to oven. Dietary needs are catered for. Filter the Delicious & Done menu by gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, high protein or high fibre and you will only see the meals that suit you. Full ingredient lists are on the website and the label, as well as full nutritional and allergen data. Someone else can order for you. Adult children and grandchildren order on behalf of a parent all the time. They enter your address as the delivery address and can add a personal note with the order.
