We provide tasty and nutritious meals with a dietitian's input as required. Vegetarian preferences are catered for.

Special features

Surrounded by gardens and trees, Lansdowne is designed around clusters of bedrooms with each cluster having its own living room and kitchenette for use by residents and their guests.

Courtyards are a special feature at Lansdowne and can be accessed from bedrooms and lounges, providing residents with secure outdoor areas and gardens.

Interests & activities

As part of our Activity programme residents enjoy Art, Bingo, Board games, Bowls, Care and Craft, Cooking, Craft, Entertainment, Exercises, Happy Hour, Indoor Games, Minigolf, Movies, Outings, Parties, Pianist, Probus, Quizzes, Reading, Shopping and Sing-a-longs to name a few.

Onsite we also have a BBQ and lovely gardens for the residents and their families to enjoy.

For those that enjoy reading there are big print books, a library and visits to the library can also be arranged.

To help residents keep in touch with friends and family we have email facilities onsite. Sky TV is also installed to keep everyone up to date with the happenings in the outside world.

Visitors from a range of different religious groups come on a regular basis to provide pastoral care to our residents. We also have close links with the Senior Citizens club.

All residents can enjoy breakfast in bed if they wish and we also cater for vegetarian preferences.

A minibus is available and used for regular outings.
