Caring Company Limited are an In-home Companionship, practical assistance, and support service operating in Auckland, and a Nationwide Caring Caller service.

Our Simple Companionship service offers company in your own home, a cuppa and a chat, someone to go for a short walk with, to play games and do puzzles with, someone to read aloud, listen to music or sing along, and someone to help with booking appointments, filling in forms or putting apps on phones.

Our Companionship Plus service offers everything above plus; meal planning & shopping lists, help with online shopping, meal prep, batch cooking & baking, laundry & dishes, changing bedding, light cleaning (wiping surfaces, dusting, cleaning showers & bathrooms, kitchen wipe down & tidy etc), and dog walking. We can also help to plan, arrange, cater and/or host small events or get-togethers with friends, neighbours, and families.

We provide companionship, support and practical assistance and are Police vetted and First aid trained. Privacy and safety are important to us.

We can work for individual clients or for families/support people who are wanting someone to spend time with their loved ones when they can't be there. If requested and agreed upon we can provide regular feedback to loved ones via call, text, email, or with the client and loved one during a visit. We also arrange to contact a nominated person if we are unable to contact the client or if there is an emergency.

Auckland In-home Companionship Service

Larissa is the Company Owner, Director and Lead Companion at Caring Company Limited. She loves to help and support people, is friendly and reliable, and has a passion for helping people to live happily, safely and well at home. Loneliness is awful and realising that some tasks are becoming difficult can be hard. We are here to help.

Our in-home companionship service operates in Auckland, in the Auckland and Waitemata DHB areas. We are not currently operating in Counties Manukau.

Our visits can be between 1 and 4 hours and we are happy to provide regular visits at the same time, and with the same companion each week (or more than once per week).There may sometimes be an option to have different companions on different days if you want to see more than one person - this is subject to availability.

Companionship Visit Pricing
Our Auckland based in-home companionship prices are based on duration, location, and services/tasks required.
We can arrange packages for people wanting more than one service per week.
We do not have a platform fee.
Our one-hour fee/first hour fee is inclusive of travel (location dependent), subsequent hours are charged at a lower rate.
Our per hour fee ranges between $36.50 and $55.00 per hour for weekdays.
Saturday visits are between $45 and $65 per hour.
There is a $10 visit charge for public holidays.

Auckland and Nationwide Caring Caller Service

Our Nationwide Caring Caller Service is available weekdays and Saturdays, and you can choose the number of weekday calls per week from 1 to 5.
Calls are 20 minutes in duration, and the caller will record details, if requested and agreed upon, we can provide feedback to families or support people. We also arrange to contact a nominated person/s if we are unable to contact the client or if there is an emergency.

Caring Caller Pricing - There is a 10% discount for people who have a regular in-home visit.
Weekday pricing is inclusive of the call, documentation, follow up and an agreement to contacting nominated people in the event of an emergency or being unable to contact the person.

2 calls per week $50 per week
3 calls per week $70 per week
4 calls per week $85 per week
5 calls per week $99 per week
There is a $5 surcharge for public holidays.

Saturday calls
$30 each if you have other calls/visits with us
$40 each if a Saturday call is your only service.
