Service Description
| OUR TEAMS Our teams across the four practices include 30 doctors; two GP nurse practitioners; 25 nurses, four primary care assistants (PCAs), three radiographers, and 30 administration staff, including the senior leadership team. The teams work with the wider multi-disciplinary team to provide an extensive range of primary healthcare services to meet your healthcare needs. These include physiotherapy, pharmacy, podiatry, cardiology and paediatric services at the Westown clinic; physiotherapy at our Moturoa and Bell Block clinics, and podiatry at the Merrilands clinic. The Westown, Moturoa, Merrilands and Bell Block clinics both also have health improvement practitioners providing additional support and advice for our patients. URGENT CARE SERVICES AVAILABLE Carefirst offers an Urgent Care Clinic at Carefirst Westown Medical Centre. This service is open from 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday and is available to both registered and non-registered patients. Please be aware of the following: - The Urgent Care Clinic is for medical issues and/or accidents that require medical attention. - Registered patients that present with non-urgent issues may be redirected to a booked appointment. - The Urgent Care Clinic is not for repeat prescriptions, ACC or WINZ renewals, or ongoing medical issues. - An additional Urgent Care fee will apply. - In an emergency, please call 111. We have a dedicated aged care team that cater to the needs of people living in retirement village and in rest home care.
