About Bupa Redwood Care Home

Bupa Redwood Care Home logo

Redwood Care Home is well respected in the Rotorua community, for the high standard of care we give, while making each of our residents feel as much at home as they can.

Focusing on making each day the best it can be for your loved one is what’s most important to us. We take the time to get to know you, so that our care can be personalised, respecting likes, dislikes and preferences, in a way that is right for you. We welcome friends and family at any time.

We know it is very important to offer choices and to really listen to what our residents and their families want. Making decisions together is a very important part of our philosophy. It helps us make each day the best it can be.

We often receive compliments from our residents and their families about the kindness of our staff, and the “little extras” that they so willingly do. One of our residents really missed working in his garden so our Activities Co-ordinator set aside an inner courtyard where he now spends many hours raking, weeding and growing vegetables.

We also have a retirement village on the same site, which can make visiting a spouse easier for some people.

We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk with you about our care, or feel free to drop in at any time.
