About Bainlea House
Bainlea House is a specialist dementia care facility and part of the Rangiora Lifecare family. Nestled in an idyllic residential area and surrounded by lush gardens, this purpose-built home caters to long-term care and respite care within a safe and considerate environment. The facility features 27 beds with room sizes and facilities to suit each individual including premium and non-premium options.
Our community at Bainlea House is characterised by its warmth and inclusivity. Your loved one will thrive in a wonderful atmosphere with high-quality individualised care designed to match each resident's abilities and contribute to every facet of their wellbeing. What's included in your fees and what's not?
Full board and lodgings include: general laundry service, cleaning services, all bedding and bedroom furniture, television, DVD and stereo in the lounge, all meals, continence products and doctor.
Fees do not include specialty appointments and or medications, hairdresser, or podiatrist costs.
Details about meals
Home cooked & varied menu set by a dietician,we will endeavour to cater for all requirements that you desire.
Meals may be eaten in a communual dinning room or other areas in the home eg. bedroom, sunroom or outside in the garden. We have picnics and fish & chips on a regular basis.
Nutritious snacks can be served when anyone is hungry, including during the long night hours.
Special features
Bainlea House is nestled in a picturesque residential area surrounded by beautiful gardens. Within the security of the home and garden, we have a circuit walkway available for those residents who enjoy a wander. A bus stop is situated at the end of the cul-de-sac, enabling easy visiting of loved ones in our care. We provide quality individualised care in a homely environment, with home-cooked meals and breakfast in bed for those who enjoy this. Activities play an important role at Bainlea House. Every day is fulfilling with a comprehensive program run by our experienced care staff. For residents that like a wander, we undergo regular outings into the Rangiora community. Family and friends are welcome to join in on all supported activities.
