Special features
We provide a relaxed happy and secure environment in pleasant surroundings setting high standards of care.
We pride ourselves in giving quality of life to our Residents by establishing routines as close as possible to those they would experience at home. eg. We encourage and assist our residents to help with household jobs like:meal prepartion, gardening, car washing etc. We also provide recreational activities and outings.
We own our own 11 seater van which goes out weekly for a drive, an icecream a cup of tea or just to look at the our coast line.
Our large garden is a haven for people who enjoy walking.
Staff receive extensive training to provide them with the knowledge to care for and respect residents with a range of beliefs, backgrounds, orientation etc.
Staff are encouraged and well informed about the different cultural events throughout Auckland such as: Chinese lantern festival, Big Gay out, Gay parade, Pasifika. This provides them with a wide range of knowledge about cultural diversity.
