Details about meals
All meals are cooked on the premises to provide nutritional meals. Good old fashioned home cooked meals are an important part of ensuring residents maintain good health. Menus are changed regularly to ensure full variety.
Our menu is approved by the dietician annually or as required.
Special dietary needs are catered for.
Special features
This purpose built unit is conveniently located in the grounds of Ashwood Park Retirement Village and overlooking picturesque gardens and courtyard.
Ashwood Park Continuing Care Hospital is dedicated to provide absolute quality care in a pleasant and modern environment. A philosophy of recognising each resident as an individual ensuring they receive the respect privacy and dignity each resident deserves.

COMMUNAL ACTIVITIES
An important feature of the Village is the comprehensive activities programme which is designed to motivate and entertain our residents.
Ths service is not only for the Care facility but also for the Studio/Apartment Units and Villas.
The programme is designed to meet the individual needs of all residents who wish to participate.
An activities officer will co-ordinate the following programmes:

·Mini bus trips/picnics/shopping trips
·Regular church services
·A full and varied social programme

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
