About Arvida Aria Gardens

Arvida Aria Gardens logo

At Aria Gardens, we provide a friendly, warm, homely environment. We encourage and support individuals within the community to make the most of their abilities and, where possible, increase their confidence to enable them to grow and enjoy as much independence as they can. Our philosophy is to provide every resident with their own space where they can welcome their friends and family/whanau as visitors to their home in private and comfortable surroundings.
Our vision at Aria Gardens is to provide a home where our residents live with dignity, where the environment enhances and maximizes independence and there is respect for every individual's cultural, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and physical well being. This vision is underpinned by our values of compassion, integrity, dignity, honesty, respect, innovation, accountability and excellence in our field. We are always looking for ways to improve and we take time to listen and provide personalized care.
The wellness program we offer here at Aria Gardens are based on robust research about the positive effects of diet, exercise, social interaction and mental stimulation on ageing. This approach is part of our ‘living a life with soul’ philosophy, which shapes how our communities operate.
Arvida’s “Five Pillars”, Eating Well, Moving Well, Resting Well, Thinking Well and Engaging Well are reflected in the planning and delivery of each program. Designed to cater to the specific interests of residents, they can be held within the community or at an outside venue, accessed with the community van

We are on the North Shore in the Waitamata District. Based in Albany.
