About Arvida Aria Bay
Arvida’s Aria Bay community is on a journey to transform the ageing experience, so that you can always live the best version of your life. We’ve turned the traditional model of care on its head with a fundamental shift in how we provide support to residents. Now care is shaped to the person, rather than making the person fit into care.
Our new care centre offers long-term accommodation in fully-furnished care suites. These are grouped into homely micro-communities call households. Each household has a spacious shared kitchen, communal living areas and access to outdoor spaces. Each care suite has their own ensuite and kitchenette and has been professionally decorated to a hight standard – see images above.
Rest home residents enjoy three meals a day, as well as morning and afternoon tea. All meals are served in the main dining room. Residents who are unwell can have their meals served in their room. Our kitchen staff cater to special nutritional requirements, such as diabetic or gluten-free diets.
We have a physiotherapist on staff part time to assess each new resident’s mobility requirements, and can implement a full mobility plan if needed. A podiatrist also makes regular visits and a hairdresser is onsite.
There are sun-soaked lounges and decks where residents can relax and visit with each other or visiting family and friends.
Residents enjoy regular outings and bus trips and there are organised activities including Tai Chi sessions, visiting school and church groups, bingo and music sessions. And don’t forget the Friday Afternoon Happy Hour!

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
