About Tamahere Country Club Care Centre
At Tamahere Country Club Care Centre, care is delivered with compassion, dignity, and genuine respect for the person you are.
Proudly developed and operated by family-owned Sanderson Group, Tamahere Country Club Care Centre offers rest home, hospital-level, and secure memory loss care in a beautifully designed environment where comfort, connection, and choice are part of daily life.
Our experienced care team takes the time to understand each resident’s needs, preferences, culture, routines, and life story. Care plans are created in partnership with residents and their families, then reviewed as needs change, so support remains personal, thoughtful, and responsive.
Everyday life is shaped around what matters most to each resident. From choosing when to start the day, to selecting meals, joining activities, or spending time with family, we support residents to continue living with independence and meaning wherever possible.
Once complete, our Care Centre will offer 51 thoughtfully designed care suites, including 20 dedicated to memory loss care. Each suite has been created for comfort, privacy, and ease, with premium features such as plush carpet, underfloor heating, private ensuites, built-in wardrobes, and smart technology including fall detection and voice activation.
Shared spaces, landscaped gardens, sensory areas, tailored lifestyle activities, chef-prepared meals, and on-site services such as hairdressing and microchipped laundry all support a calm, connected, and dignified way of life.
We understand that moving into care is a deeply personal decision. When you are ready, our team is here to guide you and your family with warmth, clarity, and care every step of the way.

Residents Say It Best
”This is one of the finest care facilities I have ever seen. Congratulations to Nathan Sanderson, Helen Martelli and the team. You have created something truly special.”
Nick Stehr - Director HS Healthcare
”Is this really a care facility or an actual country club? It looks really high end.”
Luis Salavarria Investor, Real Estate Alternative Assets Specialist
”We have visited our friend at the Tamahere Country Club Care Centre numerous times, and I have always been impressed with the food served. One day I arrived to an "Italian Day" lunch. All the tables were set with red and white tablecloths and decorations. The chef had made lots of small pizza bases and had a range of toppings ready for each resident to choose from to make their own individual pizzas to their taste. I know of nowhere else where a person in Care can get an individually catered meal. I was truly surprised to see such thoughtfulness. Not only does Tamahere Country Club Care Centre cater to each individual resident and their tastes, but they go out of their way to make the days and meals as interesting and varied as they can.”
C McDowall
”What Nathan and Natasha have achieved with TCC’s beautiful Care Centre is spectacular. Their focus to detail and design is extraordinary!”

”A true home away from home. Impressive facilities and the most friendly, compassionate and welcoming staff who have kept my mother entertained with fun activities and a lot of laughter.
The level of care we have experienced is impressive and very responsive. During her stay my mother had a mini stroke. Thanks to the staff’s swift action and professionalism my mother has made a full recovery which I will always be grateful for. Her health has greatly improved staying here and it is a great comfort knowing she is in safe hands.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tamahere Country Club Care Centre to anyone.”
J Anderson
”We just wanted to say a big thank you for the lovely Mother's Day Lunch. To the Chef and all the helpers, you had excelled yourselves in the decorations of the tables and the beautiful meal. We did appreciate your presentation and hard work on Sunday! Thanking you once again.”
J & R McLaren
”We just wanted to express of our thanks to you and your team for the recent care of our Dad. I especially really appreciated the detailed notes on his discharge. His care was respectful and kind, thank you for that.”
N Davies
”To the Team, thank you for taking such good care of our mum, Alison. She was so well looked after and we're very grateful. She's settling in well.”
K Popay
”To the nurses and carers in Kaimai, I will always remember your kind and empathetic care during my short stay. My sincere thanks to you all.”
K Matthews
”The staff are so amazing and so kind and helpful. They are always so happy. Every single person is so neat. I have never met so many people in one place that are so neat. Great culture here and it starts from the top. The food is 10/10. The staff are 10/10. Everything is 10/10”
IS
”Mum stayed for 2 weeks of respite care. She received amazing care, food and support and I can’t thank you all enough. I did want to say that your facilities and staff have exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with how well you have looked after Mum. Everyone that has visited or come for dinner has been blown away with the amazing surroundings, food and staff and the mechanical bed and fireplace have been fan favourites.”
DP
”Our sincere thanks for the wonderful care and attention my wife received at TCC Care Centre during her final weeks. We are most grateful to you and your team for your kindness and thoughtfulness. It is greatly appreciated.”

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who 'buy' into a retirement village. If you intend to 'purchase' you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
