At Aldwins House, we care with heart. Our home is a safe, nurturing environment where residents live active and fulfilling lives. We are located in the central Christchurch suburb of Linwood, close to shops, cafes and public transport.

Aldwins House provides Rest Home, Hospital, Respite, Palliative and YPD care options. Our compassionate, skilled team is carefully trained to provide support, companionship and individualised care to our residents. We feel a deep sense of responsibility to our people and their families and whanau, and fostering trust is integral to the way we care.

Aldwins House underwent extensive renovations in 2020 and we offer a fresh, modern and well-resourced facility, without premium charges. We have 144 care bedrooms, the majority with private ensuites and many with balcony access. We offer a full calendar of engaging in-house activities and events, as well as regular outings to local places of interest. We also offer residents the opportunity to participate in Ran-fit, our own ACC approved and accredited strength and balance class. Our home has inviting courtyards and garden areas – providing a serene setting for you to sit and reflect, or to chat with friends and loved ones.
