Testimonials
Hello there, thanks once again for Dad's fabulous experiences with your team. He is thoroughly enjoying himself! He never mentions the cancer journey - too busy enjoying your team's chats in the car - which is great. Lisa --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you so much! You are an amazing service, with lots of patience. Appreciate very much, what you do for us! Andrea --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Corlize, Just want to say a huge thank you to Michele for picking up my dad from our daughters wedding last Saturday, it was lovely knowing he was being picked up and the care provided was amazing. Bernice --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Corlize, Mum absolutely loves her outings. It is the comments that come our way after her trips that reflect the fact that she has not only enjoyed the trip, but also has stimulated her into describing and talking about what she has seen and where she has been. Thank you so much for making our lives less stressful. Pat and I have always tried to do our best with keeping very much in touch with Mum and she gets lots of visits, but having Driving Miss Daisy on board is the icing on the cake. The fact that we can rely on you girls, to give Mum her weekly outing means so much to all of us, not just Mum. Well done team DMD team, look forward to our continued togetherness. Kind regards. Dianne and Pat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To whom it may concern, I came across Driving Miss Daisy when I started taking my wife who has dementia to the Totara Club at Windsor Park. Now I can go to bowls on Tuesdays fully confident that she will be collected from inside our home and returned into it by a wonderfully cheerful, caring person. What a wonderful service Corlize and crew provide! I do highly recommend them. Kind regards, Mark Tasker. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Corlize I’d like to thank you for your kind attention to Mum during her outings with you. Mum finds it hard to do much as she gets older (now ninety three) and her weekly and monthly trips are something she looks forward to and enjoys a lot. Her being able to get out a bit with you and Driving Miss Daisy is a real plus to the times I take her out, and means that Mum is not solely dependent on me for a change of scene. Kind regards, Mark Adams. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Corlize The service you provide with Driving Miss Daisy is fantastic for my elderly mother and gives her an opportunity to get a couple of outings a week that she would otherwise not be able to get. At 95 years of age Mum is no longer able to drive, or mobile enough to get around and so it is wonderful to know that we have a reliable and caring option for her twice weekly trips out. She loves the camaraderie and friendship and it is so easy for her to get in and out of your vehicles and works beautifully that you can take the wheelchair with you in case it is needed. We have been using the Driving Miss Daisy service for over 6 years now and it has progressed with Mum from taking her to do her shopping and appointments to being an interesting outing now that she is in full hospital care. Mum looks forward to every outing and they have become the highlight of her week and a great conversation piece when she has visitors. We have used you also to bring Mum to and from two of our family weddings which has been less stress for both her and on us. We are very grateful to you and your team for what you do for Mum and truly wouldn’t be without this service. Kind regards. Sue Stanaway |

Service Description
The happy heart of Driving Miss Daisy In early 2016, Corlize Britz admits she knew nothing about Driving Miss Daisy and hadn't even noticed their vehicles on the road. It was her husband Jan who suggested they buy the franchise for North Bays, because he felt it would suit her personality. Corlize was persuaded to the look at the company website. At that moment, everything changed and they now own 3 Franchises: North Bays, Albany and Milford! "I realised how much I'd love being able to take care of potentially vulnerable people who're looking for a smile from a friend they can rely on," Corlize explains. And, quite simply, she's never looked back. "Every day brings a gratifying experience! Even working on Christmas Day is an absolute joy." Indeed, she and her team gain so much satisfaction knowing that they're helping their clients stay independent and active. The values at the heart of Driving Miss Daisy Milford: Impeccable: we strive to deliver the utmost in service to every client, every day. Modest: we are humbled to be in the presence of yesterday's leaders, mentors and respected veterans. Respectable: we sincerely pledge to be honest, decent and caring at all times. Corlize's goal for the business remains the same: to enable clients to forge special memory moments – whether they wish to revisit familiar places from their past, take a trip into the countryside to watch the spring lambs, or get together with friends for morning tea. "We like to offer Daisy experiences with endless possibilities," she smiles. "The choice is yours, and it's our true pleasure to make it a reality." “When a client leaves our car with a smile and a happy heart, knowing they have a friend they can rely on to take them out and about, that's a job well done." How does Driving Miss Daisy work? We offer much more than a transport service – we’ll collect you from your door, drive you to your destination and provide whatever help is needed before delivering you safely home again. All drivers are vetted by the NZ Police, first aid trained and hold a Passenger Licence with NZ Transport Agency, giving you, and your family, peace of mind. Driving Miss Daisy is perfect for: • ACC-related transport (work/rehab/physio, etc.) Phone 0800 222 435 x 12 to get your pre-approval. • Medical and personal appointments • Social engagements • Grocery or other shopping trips • Airport/bus/rail departures or pick ups • Outings or appointments with your furry friends • Mobility transport for clients in wheelchairs - after hours and weekends included ... please pre-book well in advance.
