Meeting the needs of older people
Meeting the needs of older people
We can complete a number of modifications to assist our more senior clients entering and exiting their vehicles with ease. These may include an extra support handle or two, modifying seat heights or bolstering seating and even swing out seats for easier transfers from a walker, wheel-chair or mobility scooter.

Our manufacture of lifting cranes for placement of mobility scooters into suitably sized vehicles has proved popular also.

For families wanting to ensure their elderly can travel in comfort with them, vans can be transformed into comfortable people movers. Seating options can be varied, additional seat-belts installed as well as wheel-chair hoists and wheel-chair securing systems. A docking station can also be fitted enabling the wheel chair occupant to either drive the vehicle while seated in the wheel-chair, or travel as a passenger in the wheel-chair, seated beside the driver.

This is in compliance with LVVTA guidelines to ensure Health and Safety of the occupants is maintained at all times.
